UAB “Romnesa” was set up in Ignalina in 1997. We started our activities by baking bread and pastry products. Later, we also started baking tree cakes (šakotis) At present our company is a leading company on the market of Lithuania and we export our products- to different countries all over the world. In 2005 we started operating in the field of tourism. We founded Mindūnai campsite and are involved in other tourism activities.
In 2013 UAB “Romnesa“ purchased a hundred-year-old mill situated on the bank of the stream Ratnyčia with large picturesque surroundings near Druskininkai. Here we established a department of enterprise “Romnesa” in Druskininkai.
“Romnesa Druskininkai” is not only a restaurant but also a great place for conferences, accommodation, festivities and exceptional entertainment.
„Romnesa Druskininkai“ is a special place to have a meal, organize parties, banquets, buffets, weddings and company parties. We have two halls with all the necessary technical equipment. We are proud to claim that the best price-quality ratio in Druskininkai region is to find in “Romnesa”. Everything is thought over – comfortable parking of cars and buses, polite and quick service using several foreign languages, pleasant ambience both in the restaurant itself and in the surroundings.
The great advantage of “Romnesa” is large space and stunning surroundings.
The restaurant is set up in the premises of an old mill. The interior reminds of the Stone Age, our guests sit on handmade massive chairs made of oak. Outside the window and under the terrace you can hear the stream rumbling and pines rustling. The restaurant is installed the way so that both adults and children can have fun. Children can spend time in the huge playground with different slides, swings and a trampoline.
If a need arises, we are prepared to bring a party to any place you wish. We bring cooked food, serve the food and provide any necessary service.
We also offer pleasures of a farmstead: accommodation, sauna, dishes of culinary heritage and a unique dessert – a tree cake which is baked in your presence.
Next to “Romnesa” there is farmstead “Ignė” with cosy double rooms having all the amenities. We can accommodate up to 65 guests at the same time. In the farmstead there is comfortable parking for cars and buses equipped with video cameras.
